At the beginning of the year we embarked on another new building project. This time it wasn’t about houses, it was the construction of our brand new website. Whilst we are more familiar with bricks and mortar, we have found that building a website actually follows a very similar process to our other new build assignments. The successful completion of any project requires doing the groundwork and setting the necessary foundations before moving on to adding the aesthetic details.
A new build always begins with an idea, a concept, and just like with a new home, we took the time to consider how we wanted our site to look, what would be the most practical layout, how to make it user friendly and the most important and relevant information we should include. We also needed to think about the interior; the design, the colours, the pictures we would use and where we would place them.
The next stage involved taking the design from ‘paper’ to screen. It was an exciting few weeks seeing our thoughts and ideas take shape as the new website began to grow. We could completely relate to seeing the initial bare framework and following progress as the gaps were filled in, ready for us to begin adding all the details that would make the site a reflection of us, where we could provide you, our visitors, with a place to learn more about what we do.
The goal of our new website has always been to make it an extension of who we are as a company and to assure our customers and clients of our trusted expertise. We wanted it to be a welcoming and informative place so that people who visit gain a clear understanding of who we are, what we do and how we can help you achieve your goals. We have acheived this through pages dedicated to specific areas, including bespoke construction, housing developments and our brickwork subcontractor work.
Every picture tells a story and, alongside lots of information, throughout our new website you’ll find many images showcasing the vast range of work we undertake. Not only do pictures illustrate the quality of our work, they can also spark your own ideas as you embark on your own new build or large scale home development project. A very important feature of the new site is our extensive portfolio, presenting both projects we’ve completed and some of our current work in progress. This gives you a real insight into what we at J&L Build can do.
On the launch of our newly built website, we would like to welcome you to explore the pages and our portfolio to see and learn more about us and how we can help you with your own building or brickwork project.
Whether you are a private client or a contractor, we are always here to help. Our contact page includes all the relevant information you need to get in touch, as well as a simple contact form for you to send over your initial enquiry and get the ball rolling.
